Chest of drawers - Wood - wooden chest of drawers

This drawer cabinet probably dates from the 1950s or 1960s. • The clean design, the blind (invisible) drawer guides, and the minimalist, tightly crafted wooden handles are typical of the mid-century modern style. The discoloration on the wood (lighter squares on the right side of the drawers) shows that stickers or labels have been on it for decades. This points to intensive, original use in an old school, a printing shop, or a haberdashery.
