Spectacular chess game with pieces inspired by the Alfonso X era. Pieces inspired by the book of Alfonso X (alferza as queen, elephant as assault rook, and bishop as the sum of moves of 3 pawns). The most peculiar feature is the existence of the ALFERZA: "The alferza, ferz firz or firzan is a chess piece used in Shatranj, predecessor of chess, which moves one square diagonally and captures the square occupied by an opposing piece. Due to the nature of its movement, as well as the bishop and the elephant, it has the color‑bound limitation, where its movement is restricted to the color of the square from which it starts. The piece was replaced by the queen around the XIIth century in Europe. The first mention of the alferza in Castilian appears in the Libros del ajedrez, dados e tablas by Alfonso X the Wise. In Catholic Spain, the alferza was replaced by a stronger and more agile piece, the queen, a change carried out in Valencia under Ferdinand II of Aragon and in honor of Queen Isabella of Castile who rode from end to end of her realm to dedicate herself to personally solving the vast problems of her time, in the late 15th century, which revolutionized and dynamized the game."
