Two caned wood-carved armchairs – Louis XV style, Provençal inspiration Pair of matching carved-wood chairs with caned seats in a golden-toned color. They feature curved backlines, rounded armrests and front-carved feet, in a Louis XV-inspired Provençal spirit. The two chairs are not identical: their carved decorations differ, notably at the top of the backs and on the front crossbars. These differences add character to this harmonious set. The wood has a brown hue with honey tones and a patina showing signs of use. The seats are woven with natural plant fibers. The wood species is not identified with certainty.
