Ceramic plate with a blue church. Spanish School. 19th century.

Descriptio Cobalt blue glazed ceramic on a white background. Dimensions: 28 x 28 x 5 cm. 19th-century Spanish plate decorated with a central architectural motif: a church with a simple facade, framed by a vegetal border. The blue-on-white technique recalls the tradition of Spanish folk pottery, inspired by Levantine influences. Its naive character and spontaneous linework make it an example of artisanal production with strong ethnographic value. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
