Centrepiece - Silver

Elegant and imposing large centerpiece / vintage fruit bowl, made in the second half of the 20th century by the prestigious Italian silversmiths Zaramella Argenti (Padua). The object stands out for the extraordinary quality of materials and for careful handcrafted workmanship: The Bowl: In fine, high-thickness lead crystal, finely faceted with geometric and star motifs that create a splendid refraction of light. The upper edge features a refined serrated finish. At the center of the bowl is a beautiful decorative silver rosette that firmly fixes the body to the base. The Base: A solid circular pedestal in massive 800 silver (not filled), enriched at the rim with a classic motif of embossed leaves. On the base are clearly stamped the official marks of the Italian State certifying the piece’s authenticity: • The producer’s identifying mark ★ 30 PD, which attributes the work to the master silversmiths Bruno and Cesare Zaramella of Padua (active with this hallmark after 1968). • The factory logo of the manufactory (Z inscribed in a diamond). • The silver hallmark (800 inside an oval). A furniture piece of great charm and solidity, ideal to embellish formal tables or as an exclusive collectible item.
