AN ICON OF THE NEOPLASTIC MOVEMENT Synthe sis of experimentation and comfort, Gerrit Thomas Rietveld designed the famous design chair in 1935 for the Metz & Co department store in Amsterdam. Later, taken up worldwide exclusively by Cassina, it became an icon of timeless modern design and always in high demand. This chair is practically new - even the bar-tack stitches typical of the Cassina edition are in perfect condition - since it furnished a mountain house used for 15 days a year and always covered with a protective cloth. Being upholstered in fabric category 13L (Luxury), the current price of a new one is €4,514. Given the characteristics of the chair it must be picked up from the seller.
