Antique handmade pyrography jewelry box with Neo-Renaissance grotesque and monogram. A beautiful and detailed wooden box dating from around 1890-1920. Fully hand-decorated using the artisanal pyrography technique. A grotesque rising from the acanthus leaves guards the valuables inside the box. High level of relief work, (Flemish Art). Antique original key for the functioning small lock. Hinges good. The edges of the lid and the base are finished with a fine toothed molding. Dimensions: length 33 cm, width 17 cm, and height 15.5 cm. Weight: 1236 grams. This lot will be carefully packaged and shipped via POST NL.
