Case - Beech - Elegant Working Woman

This elegant vintage French-made sewing cabinet, dating from the 20th century, perfectly embodies the Mid-Century Modern style. Made from dark beech wood with a warm grain, this sewing chest rests on a slender curved pedestal and is distinguished by its clever classic accordion (or harmonica) opening mechanism, providing convenient access to its stepped compartments. The piece is in very good condition, with a perfectly functional deployment mechanism and a beautiful patina of use showing light superficial marks that attest to its authenticity. Easy to move thanks to its rigid central handle, the item weighs 6.3 kg with practical dimensions of 45 cm in width, 25 cm in depth, and a height of 60 cm (or 74 cm including the handle).
