Carpet - 306 cm - 202 cm - Modern Nepalese rug

Warm apricot and terra-cotta tones meet this hand-knotted wool Nepalese rug in an expressive abstract design. With its dimensions of 306 × 202 cm, it provides a decorative accent in living or dining areas. Several interlocking rectangular color fields structure the pattern. Over them run curved lines, spirals, and stylized floral and leaf shapes. The asymmetrically arranged motifs extend beyond the individual fields in places, connecting the inner field with the broad border. Beige and soft yellow complement the warm orange tones. Areas in gray and taupe, as well as accents in pink and muted green, add further contrast to the composition. A slim gray-brown outer edge frames the design and gives it a clear finish. This modern Oriental rug harmonizes especially with simple furniture, light upholstery fabrics, and natural wood tones. Its large-scale drawing stands out in a subdued interior. Accessories in apricot, pink, or sage green can echo individual colors of the rug and visually unite the room.
