Beautiful hand-knotted wool rug in warm salmon-pink tones with refined floral motifs and a decorative border. The fringe still bears the original metal weight that was affixed at the time by the weaving mill or an official inspection authority. This original mark is an important authenticity feature and is often regarded as evidence of traditional production and quality control. The rug was used exclusively for decorative purposes and was not walked on as an everyday rug. The wool structure, colors and overall appearance have thus remained beautifully preserved. Inspect the photos carefully; they form an integral part of the description.
