A parody of the manners and customs of the 19th century where Antiquity is no longer a factor of idealization but of causticity: The Luncheon on the Grass illustrated by fat matrons, the procession of the fallen Gods before a crowd of spectators. Politically charged album in the caricatures of Louise Michel, the Red Virgin, or also of Baron de Rothschild.
