Candleholder 8-light candlesticks (2) - Silverplated - neoclassical

Pair of monumental silver-plated 8-light candelabras – Neoclassical style – 42 cm Beautiful and imposing pair of large, richly decorated candelabras in Neoclassical style with Empire influences. The candelabras each feature eight candle holders, distributed over gracefully curved arms with elegant volutes and scroll motifs. Particularly striking are the detailed palmette and acanthus decorations, which recur on the candle holders, the central columns and the square, profiled bases. The candelabras have a gorgeous silver-colored appearance and are presumably made of silver-plated metal. The classical design and rich ornamentation give the whole a stately and luxurious look.
