Todas las subastas / Varios / Candelabrum Modernists (2) - Brass - Six Stylized Arms
They are two large modernist brass candelabra from the first half of the twentieth century, displaying that stylized, fluid, and elegant language that defined the most refined branch of the decorative modernism. Their presence is bold, yet not heavy: the golden metal, worked with clean lines and soft curves, creates a vertical silhouette that opens in an almost organic gesture. The six arms, long and sleek, unfold with a harmony very characteristic of the era. They do not seek Baroque exuberance or classical rigidity: they arch naturally, like metallic stems rising and diverging with a serene rhythm. Each arm ends in its candle holder, forming a luminous crown that, when lit, would have offered a play of warm lights over the gold brass. The central body, firm and well-proportioned, supports the structure with balance. The brass finish — warm, slightly aged, with that deep shine that only well-worked metals acquire — reinforces the sense of a noble piece, meant for elegant interiors, modernist salons, or contemporary spaces seeking a historic accent without falling into excessive ornamentation. Taken together, they are candelabra that combine visual lightness, craftsmanship, and presence, perfect for those who appreciate modernism in its most sober and refined version. Certified shipment and good packaging.
