Cabinet - Walnut

Beautiful walnut cabinet in Louis XV style, mid-18th century. The style is typically French and the cabinet was made in the Netherlands, where French styles were very popular at the time. The model is double-curved to match the shape of the drawers in the lower cabinet. The two doors are each symmetrical and exceptionally beautiful and skillfully crafted. See detail photos. The color has become very beautiful over time and has taken on a golden/honey color. Very skillfully made, with the furniture makers selecting the wood for the grain that is always mirrored. Finished with narrow inlaid strips in other types of wood—this was fashionable at the time and a hallmark of quality. See detail photos. The interior is oak, clean and very practical as storage space. The lock is original and the key works. The upper cabinet can be taken apart for transport. Transport is on a pallet and packed with sturdy cardboard. You will receive a tracking number so you can follow the transport yourself. I only ship to EU countries. Buyers outside these countries must arrange their own transport. You will receive all details from me. Possible transporters are: DHL, FedEx, and UPS. Moving companies are more expensive and offer more services such as bringing inside or carrying up the stairs.
