Butterfly Taxidermy full body mount - Morpho didius - 23...

Morpho didius — Peru Originating from the tropical forests of Peru, the Morpho didius spreads wings of an iridescent blue of rare breadth, whose glow transforms at every angle of light. A structural color, living, that no pigment could imitate — and that each specimen expresses in its own way, with its own variations of hues and patterns. This one exists only in a single copy in the world. Its veins, its nuances, the infinitesimal asymmetries between the wings — none of this will ever be reproduced identically. It is the silent law of living beings, and it is precisely what makes this frame irreplaceable. Before reaching your walls, this specimen has passed through the hands of an entomologist. A meticulous work, invisible to the naked eye but decisive: hydrate the specimen, deploy each wing with precision, maintain the posture during drying, ensure that every detail is highlighted as it deserves. A handcrafted know-how that transforms a natural specimen into a piece worthy of a cabinet of curiosities. This specimen also has a spot on the inside of the right wing (see photos!) that does not detract from its natural and magical beauty! Presented on a black background in a shadow box of 23x23x5 cm, equipped with an anti-UV acrylic glass and a professional quality finish, this specimen is much more than a decorative object — it’s a unique and inimitable fragment of the natural world, frozen forever:)
