ETHICS & CRAFT At NOOS Entomology, we give a second life to specimens from old entomological collections, formed before the year 2000. Each butterfly is selected with care, restored meticulously, and artisanally showcased, in respect of its history and its uniqueness. Our approach is based on preserving this ancient natural heritage, without breeding new specimens for our creations. These compositions allow insects preserved for several decades to regain their place in our interiors, between scientific curiosity and decorative object. SHIPPING To offer controlled shipping costs, orders are shipped to a pickup point or to a locker, depending on the carrier's possibilities and the destination. After your purchase, you can contact me to indicate your preferred pickup point. The final choice will depend on the available delivery options. PACKAGING & PROTECTION Protecting our compositions is considered from the design stage. Each globe benefits from specific preparation aimed at limiting the effects of vibrations and handling during transport. Your order is then carefully packaged with protective materials suitable for the fragility of the glass and the specimen. We favor, as much as possible, the use of reused or recyclable packaging materials. Shipping costs include this preparation as well as the transport and protections necessary to deliver these particularly delicate objects. Despite all precautions, a transport incident may still occur. In case of a problem on receipt, please keep the packaging and contact us promptly, in accordance with Catawiki's claims procedures. FOR ENTHUSIASTS A piece intended for entomology collectors, natural history enthusiasts, and lovers of antique decoration and cabinets of curiosities.
