ETHICS & KNOW-HOW At NOOS Entomology, we give a second life to specimens from older entomological collections established before the year 2000. Each butterfly is selected with care, restored meticulously, and artisanalily showcased, with respect for its history and its uniqueness. Our approach is based on preserving this old natural heritage, without breeding new specimens for our creations. These compositions allow insects preserved for decades to reclaim their place in our interiors, between scientific curiosity and decorative object. SHIPPING To offer controlled shipping costs, orders are shipped to a pickup point or a locker, depending on the options offered by the carrier and the destination. After your purchase, you can contact me to indicate your preferred pickup point. The final choice will depend on the available delivery options. PACKAGING & PROTECTION Protecting our compositions is considered from the design stage. Each globe benefits from a specific preparation aimed at limiting the effects of vibrations and handling during transport. Your order is then carefully packed with protective materials suited to the fragility of the glass and the specimen. We prefer, as much as possible, to reuse or recycle packaging materials. Shipping costs cover this preparation as well as the transport and protections necessary for the delivery of these particularly delicate objects. Despite all precautions, a transport incident remains possible. In case of a problem on delivery, please keep the packaging and contact us promptly, in accordance with Catawiki’s claims procedures. FOR ENTHUSIASTS A piece intended for entomology collectors, natural history enthusiasts, and lovers of antique decoration and cabinets of curiosities.
