Bulova Accutron 214 Spaceview - 1965 (date code M5) - stainless steel The iconic tuning-fork watch with the open 'Spaceview' look: the famous green circuit, coils and tuning fork are fully visible through the crystal. You hear the typical Accutron hum instead of a tick, and the seconds hand sweeps perfectly smoothly. Important: this is a Spaceview CONVERSION. The watch started life as a regular Accutron 214 with a dial; the dial was removed and a Spaceview-style crystal fitted, as was commonly done. The movement and case are genuine Bulova Accutron 214. Price and reserve reflect this. Details: - Caliber: Bulova Accutron 214 tuning fork, 360 Hz, electronic - Year: 1965 (M5 code on the caseback) - Case: stainless steel, stainless steel caseback - Diameter: approx. 34 mm (without crown) - Crystal: acrylic, domed - Strap: black leather - Battery: new 1.55 V silver oxide cell fitted - Men's size Condition: good, with visible signs of wear consistent with 60+ years of use (marks and light scratches on the case and caseback, see photos). A small speck of lint is visible under the crystal near 5 o'clock in the photos. Working and keeping time; tested before shipping. No box or papers. Service history unknown.
