A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the vein of Rauchenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage or Karel Appel's expressionism, roaming the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, this material worked with the body, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue. An artist represented at the Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France, Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands. Listed by Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005.
