Bri Debernardi - SACRAMENTO -70x100cm- ABSTRACT

ORIGINAL AND UNIQUE WORK — COMPLETELY HAND-PAINTED This original work by Bri Debernardi is made entirely by hand with acrylic paint on canvas, applied in successive, thick, generous layers. The canvas is a unique composition, rich in depth and texture. Its large format gives it a strong presence: a work designed to become a true focal point in a room. ABOUT THE ARTIST Bri Debernardi is a French contemporary painter based in Provence, whose work is characterized by a strong pictorial identity, remarkable mastery of color, and sophisticated handling of matter and movement. Nourished by a life between Europe, South America, and Africa, her painting combines the intensity of South American colors with Mediterranean light. Superimpositions, transparencies, scrapes, and contrasts create works rich in depth, each detail being unique and impossible to reproduce identically. Her work subtly explores the boundary between balance and rupture, control and spontaneity, appearance and disappearance, leaving the viewer with wide interpretative freedom. Her works, especially her large formats with strong visual presence, are shown in exhibitions and artistic events in France and internationally, notably in Cannes, Rome, Milan, London, and have joined private collections in several countries. Instagram: @brigitte_debernardi PRESENTATION OF THE CANVAS The work is painted beyond the final indicated format to allow for mounting on a frame without a surround: once the canvas is stretched, the painting naturally extends onto the sides of the stretcher. It can thus be presented as is or complemented by a frame to suit your interior. Important: the canvas is sold rolled, without stretcher or frame. The photographs showing the stretched, framed, or interior-installed version are staged images intended to illustrate its presentation. UNDERSTANDING THE DIMENSIONS The dimensions of the shipped canvas are larger than the final size indicated in order to preserve the margin needed for mounting on a frame. Usually, you should expect about 4 to 7.5 cm margin on each side, depending on the artwork’s format. Example: a raw canvas of 145 cm × 145 cm is intended to be mounted on a frame of about 130 × 130 cm, leaving a 7.5 cm margin on each side for proper tension.
