Braun - A1 Solid state integrated amplifier

Braun Atelier A1 – Vintage Stereo Integrated Amplifier – Classic German Hi-Fi Design – Circa 1980 Offered here is the Braun Atelier A1, an elegant stereo integrated amplifier from the early 1980s, combining sophisticated analogue audio engineering with Braun’s distinctive minimalist design. Its slim profile, carefully arranged controls and discreet front flap give the A1 an understated appearance. Less frequently used adjustments are concealed, leaving the main controls readily accessible—a thoughtful detail characteristic of the Atelier range. Designed as the amplification centre of an Atelier system, the A1 offers connections for vinyl playback, line-level sources and tape recorders, together with separate preamplifier and power-amplifier connections. The range presented hi-fi equipment as a coordinated system, with consistent proportions and a restrained visual identity. The amplifier’s appeal lies in the combination of practical audio controls and a clean architectural appearance. It represents a period when the layout, proportions and everyday usability of a hi-fi component were central to its identity. Condition: In good overall cosmetic condition for its age, with light surface marks to the casing and scattered spotting and small marks to the front panel. The controls and lettering remain well presented, and the hinged front flap is present. Please examine the photograph carefully for the visible condition.
