Antique rigid bracelet in gold with pearls and enamel-painted porcelain miniature - Manifattura FROV, late 19th Century Type: Antique hinged rigid bracelet with a side hinge. Manufacture / Origin: Italy stamped FROV (Fabbriche Riunite Oreficerie Vicentine) on the back of the central mount. Era: Late 19th Century / Early 20th Century (full Victorian era / Renaissance Revival style) Materials: yellow/rose gold, natural pearls (scaramazze) hand-painted polychrome enamel on a porcelain plaque small cabochon-cut emerald at the base. Aesthetic Details: The front is characterized by a refined circular medallion that portrays in profile a noblewoman with Renaissance-era hair and attire. The setting is enriched with pierced work of geometric scrolls and foliate decorations, embellished by pearls arranged in a trefoil shape and along the side curls. Double smooth band on the back. Excellent vintage condition consistent with the object's age. Enamel intact and free of obvious crazing, contemporaneous pearls well secured, clasp and hinge perfectly functional.
