Box - Russian lacquer box with a winter troika – signed - Wood

Russian lacquer box or a painted lid with a troika: a sleigh pulled by three horses. Bottom left seems to read “Федоскино” (Fedoskino) and in the center “Тройка” (Troika). Probably Russia, Fedoskino. The place name on the lower edge points to that. Winter sleigh rides with three horses are more common on Russian lacquer boxes, including examples from Fedoskino. Height 4 cm Length 12.5 cm Width 9 cm Small damage to the corners but otherwise beautiful and in good condition. Carefully packed and sent by registered mail.
