Bookends - Wood, Brass - Pair of bookends

Exceptional and elegant pair of military and industrial-style bookends made from two original artillery inclinometers/goniometers from the Spanish Army, mounted on solid wooden angular bases. The instruments, produced entirely in high-quality solid brass, were made by Spain's renowned Precision Artillery Workshop (TPA), bearing on the base the original engraving with the historic flaming bomb emblem. This type of scientific measuring instrument was used to calculate elevation and firing angles for artillery pieces. The photos form part of the description. They will be shipped by a transportation agency with a tracking number.
