Bookends (4) - Wood - Art Deco 1920-1930
A beautiful pair of handmade wooden bookends from the early 20th century, executed in the distinctive style of the Amsterdam School and Art Deco. The bookends stand out for their clean, architectural design with gracefully rounded tops. At the feet rest two wooden spheres that are decorated with deep, incised geometric lines, crafted with attention to detail. This linework is an iconic motif from Dutch decorative art of the 1920s and 1930s. Everything is carefully packed and shipped worldwide.
