Book by Bishop Isidro Carvajal Lancaster. Spanish School. 18th century.

Descriptio Laid paper printed in double columns and bound in parchment. Measurements: 30 cm x 21 cm x 13 cm. Handwritten or printed copy in Latin, corresponding to the 18th century, which compiles various letters or treatises by the Bishop of Cuenca, Don Isidro Carvajal Lancaster. The rustic binding, made of natural parchment with visible stitching, corresponds to the usual format for ecclesiastical archival works or doctrinal works. The interior preserves classic typography with well-drawn columns, generous margins, and old-fashioned pagination. The structure of the text and the use of Latin indicate its canonical or administrative nature, linked to episcopal administration. This work of documentary value illustrates the clerical printed production of 18th-century Spain. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist.
