'Boer 96'. - Figurine - Pop Art Betonnen Torso - Solid poured concrete

Unique Pop Art Concrete Torso – Signed 'Boer 96' – 54 cm / Approx. 30 kg An impressive, unique and hand-painted art torso created in a vivid Pop Art and Street Art style. This unique object was produced in 1996 and is signed on the underside by the artist with 'Boer 96'. Unlike modern variants made of plastic or resin, this bust is solid cast from concrete. This gives the artwork a very robust character and a substantial weight of about 30 kg. The torso is fully decorated all around with expressive, cartoon-like figures and abstract forms with thick black outlines, strongly reminiscent of iconic graffiti and comic art from the 1990s. The whole is finished with a protective gloss layer that causes the colors to pop. A fantastic and unique statement piece for connoisseurs of modern art, pop art, and exclusive interior design.
