Pendant featuring a guilloche blue enamel egg accented by a silver toned metal band of round cut colorless glass, suspended from a yellow gold toned bow accented by a single round cut colorless glass, on delicate link chain. Chain stamped '10K'. Approximate dimensions: Length necklace: 18 1/2 in., Length pendant: 1 1/4 in., Width pendant: 5/8 in, total weight 10.4 grams. Provenance: From the Gaston Collection, acquired through generational transfer from the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays (1881-1951), wife of Senator James E. Hays; the Estate of Louise Frederick Hays Gaston and Dr. Joseph H. Gaston III; and the Estate of Dr. J. Harper Gaston and Dr. Anne Elizabeth Hendrick Gaston. The multi-generational collection was housed at two notable Georgia homes�Twin Oaks (a National Register Greek Revival estate in Greenville, Georgia and Rhodes Hall (the �castle on Peachtree Street� that functioned a Georgia State Archives from 1930-1965).
