Black Sabbath - Vol

Scarce Yugoslav pressing of Black Sabbath's Vol. 4, issued by PGP-RTB under catalogue number LP 55 5897. This unusual Yugoslav edition is immediately recognisable by its distinctive yellow labels and the original gatefold sleeve bearing the "SREBRNA" commercial-success medal printed on the front. The locally produced PGP-RTB editions are particularly interesting for collectors of worldwide Black Sabbath pressings, as they differ noticeably in label design and sleeve presentation from the much more commonly encountered UK and Western European Vertigo issues. The SREBRNA emblem is an especially distinctive Yugoslav feature and gives this copy a markedly different appearance from the standard international editions of Vol. 4. The album features tracks including "Wheels of Confusion," "Tomorrow's Dream," "Changes," "Supernaut," "Snowblind," "Cornucopia" and "Under the Sun." ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): The original gatefold sleeve remains in very nice overall condition. There is an ink mark on the front together with some normal light age and handling wear, but no major distracting damage. The gatefold retains its attractive presentation and the distinctive SREBRNA medal is clearly visible on the front. Vinyl (EX): A very clean example with a strong original shine and only minimal signs of previous play.
