A must have print for all cinema lovers. The still photographs taken on the film Funny Face (1957) are attributed to renowned star photographer Bert Hardy and the press team at Paramount Pictures, whose work closely followed the revolutionary fashion aesthetic established by Richard Avedon, who served as the film's visual consultant. The Yorkshire Terrier Audrey is holding was not a film extra; it was Mr. Famous, her first and most beloved pet. Audrey became so fond of him that the director allowed him to appear in several scenes of the film. Impronte Edizioni created a legendary black-and-white series dedicated to icons of classic cinema, including Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and, most notably, Audrey Hepburn. Its distinctive feature was high-quality printing on heavyweight paper with a semi-matte finish, giving remarkable depth to the dark tones and the grain of the original cinematic photography. This Italian publishing house became a leading name in European decorative art during the 1990s, thanks to its catalogues of high-quality prints and artistic postcards.
