Bernard Aubertin (1934-2015) - Monocromo rosso, 1973 – acrilico su tela

Bernard Aubertin (1934–2015) – Red Monochrome, 1973 Important original work by Bernard Aubertin created in 1973, belonging to the artist's exploration of the red monochrome and painting materiality. The work is characterized by an intensely tactile, fully red surface, achieved through a dense working of the paint that creates a particular reticulate texture and a tactile effect. The surface, observed up close, reveals a remarkable variety of densities, marks, and stratifications, transforming the color into a true material experience. Details of the work * Artist: Bernard Aubertin (1934–2015) * Title: Red Monochrome * Year: 1973 * Technique: acrylic paint on canvas * Dimensions: 73.3 × 53 cm * Edition: unique * Signature: signed and dated on the back * Archiving: Archive of Bernard Aubertin's Works * Archival number: MTR37 – 1000466123 The work is accompanied by the documentation of the Archive of Bernard Aubertin's Works, which records its title, technique, dimensions, year of execution, and archival number. The painting also retains its original wooden structure characteristic of it and shows on the back evident traces of the treatment and color, elements that document the original realization of the work. A particularly interesting work for collectors of Bernard Aubertin and for the international market of Italian and European art of the second half of the 20th century, as it belongs to the production of the 1970s, a fundamental period in the artist's research on red color and monochrome painting. Conditions: excellent overall condition commensurate with the age of the work. Normal signs of time and conservation are present, especially on the wooden structure and on the back. It is recommended to observe the photographs carefully, which are an integral part of the description.
