Beatles - Beatles For Sale (UK) – Early 4N/4N Mono – K/T...

A beautiful early UK mono pressing of Beatles For Sale, featuring the desirable XEX 503-4N / XEX 504-4N matrix combination, original black-and-yellow Parlophone labels and the period K/T purchase-tax code. Released in December 1964, Beatles For Sale captures The Beatles at a fascinating transitional point, combining the immediacy of Beatlemania with darker and more introspective material such as No Reply, I'm a Loser, Baby's in Black and Every Little Thing. This copy comes from the original 1960s UK production period and retains the classic Parlophone label design with "THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD." perimeter text, "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964" and "SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS". The 4N/4N matrix combination belongs to the early UK mono production sequence and represents a well-established original-era variation of the album. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): The original laminated gatefold sleeve remains very solid and attractive. There is some light age-related handling, edge and corner wear, but no major structural damage. The artwork remains strong and the sleeve retains good overall presentation → VG+ Vinyl (EX): The vinyl retains a beautiful deep gloss and presents exceptionally cleanly overall, with only very minor evidence of careful previous use. There are no significant scratches or distracting marks and the surfaces remain remarkably fresh for an original 1960s Beatles mono LP. The black-and-yellow Parlophone labels are equally attractive and present very well → EX ⸻ Details * UK mono pressing, 1964 * Parlophone PMC 1240 * XEX 503-4N / XEX 504-4N matrix combination * Original black-and-yellow Parlophone labels * K/T purchase-tax code * Gatefold sleeve * Made in Gt.
