Attention! - The sides are sticky - the paint has softened. - On the doppia gobba roof there are spots where the paint isn’t perfect - dull patches, not a smooth high-gloss like new. I am selling it explicitly as: a build model with paint flaw and sticky surface, as pictured. Do not try to polish it, it will only get worse. Handmade BBR Classic model. This specimen is No. 45 from the Classic series, in Rosso with starting number 8 and license plate MI 37 9254. The real car: While most Ferrari 250 GT Tour de France in the 1950s were built by Scaglietti, five long-wheelbase chassis were sent to Zagato in Milan for an even more exclusive treatment. The 250 GT Zagato Berlinetta Speciale is regarded as one of the rarest and most beautiful sports cars of all time. It is a V12-powered lightweight model with an elegant coachbuilt body featuring Zagato’s trademark double-bubble roof. As Uwe Zagato and his sons were open to customers’ requests, the GTZs varied in subtle details and some were made as light as possible. Air racer Camillo Luglio won two Italian championships in two different examples and finished second in his class in the somewhat tamed Mille Miglia of 1958. Mille Miglia 1958 version with low Zagato nose, exhaust pipes through the fenders and a double-bubble roof.
