Contents of the lot The collection comprises Nos. 0 through 61, with only four missing numbers: Missing: No. 6, 8, 14 and 59. All other numbers in this series are present. Total: 58 comic books + bonus misprint of No. 41 (the regular issue of No. 41 is also present) Special editions Batman No. 0 – Introduction Special A special introductory Baldakijn edition, featuring a striking red-yellow cover showing Batman in action. This edition marks the starting point of the offered collection and is of particular interest to collectors of early Dutch-language Batman publications. Special cover misprint Batman No. 41: The cover shows a double printing, presumably a combination of Batman No. 41 and Superman No. 83, both published by Baldakijn. The inner pages belong to Batman No. 41 and are normally printed. The exact cause and rarity of this production error are unknown. For collectors of print variants and production mistakes, this is a particularly interesting item. Batman No. 20 – Fever A atmospheric edition with a striking orange-yellow cover, with Batman surrounded by bats. Batman No. 30 – Ode to a Penguin A particularly moody cover featuring Batman in a cemetery, surrounded by white birds and tombstones. Batman No. 40 A striking cover with a group of mysterious, feline figures and Batman in a perilous situation.
