Bassano - Stock pot - Large Ceramic Duck Terrine from Bassano

A stunning and very generous vintage ceramic soup tureen in the shape of a wild duck (Mallard), made by the well-known quality brand Bassano from Italy. This is a rare XL-size with an impressive capacity of no less than 3.5 liters. A very special detail of this tureen is the integrated aluminum insulation layer on the inside of the lid. It reflects the heat, keeping your soup, stew, or ragout wonderfully warm on the table for even longer! Perfect for festive dinners and the upcoming Christmas season. Specifications: • Brand: Bassano (Italy) • Capacity: approx. 3.5 liters • Dimensions: Width 39 cm | Height 23 cm | Depth 23 cm • Included: Matching metal soup ladle that fits perfectly into the lid recess. • Extra: Special aluminum heat-retaining inner lid. Condition: The tureen is in very nice vintage condition with beautiful, bright colors and a glossy glaze. There is one small glaze spot/chip on the outer rim (see detail photo). This is hardly noticeable during use or on the cabinet and does not affect function or decorative value. The interior and the aluminum layer are completely clean and ready for use. A wonderful piece of Italian craftsmanship for lovers of vintage design and country-style dining! Will be well packaged and shipped insured with traceability or available for pickup."
