One Piece Luffy OP07-109 – V Jump Special Pack 2024 Promo A special Japanese ONE PIECE CARD GAME V Jump Special Pack 2024, with Monkey D. Luffy prominently on the packaging. This is not a regular booster, but a special Bandai edition linked to V Jump, which makes it particularly interesting for collectors of Japanese promo- and limited releases. The big eye-catcher is Monkey D. Luffy OP07-109 SR, produced with a striking alternate illustration. Luffy is depicted in his futuristic red outfit with a colorful Egghead-like background. An artwork that instantly stands out among the regular One Piece cards. On the original packaging it states 全3種, meaning three different variants in this special series. It’s precisely the combination of a Japanese special release, Luffy as the main character, and a distinctive artwork that gives this item a strong collectible character. I find this type of release especially appealing because it represents a specific moment in the history of the One Piece Card Game. As the TCG ages, original Japanese promotional releases can become increasingly interesting for collectors who look beyond regular booster cards. A price increase is, of course, never guaranteed, but Luffy, Japanese exclusivity, special artwork, and a recognizable 2024 release are strong traits for long-term preservation. Even as a display item, the original packaging is gorgeous: the colorful Luffy artwork immediately makes it clear that this is something other than a standard card release. A nice opportunity for the Luffy collector, One Piece promo collector, or anyone who wants to add special Japanese releases to their collection. Name of the depicted card: Monkey D.
