Baccarat - Cocktail shaker - Massena - Crystal

CARAFE - SERVICE FLASK - SHAKER IN BACCARAT CRYSTAL, WITH ITS ORIGINAL CORK Timeless elegance and high-quality execution characterize this superb and LARGE SHAKER in cut crystal, intended for serving spirits or for cocktail preparation. Its sober and refined design highlights a deep vertical cut that admirably catches the light and emphasizes the purity of the crystal. Equipped with two subtly integrated pouring spouts at the neck, it offers precise pouring and testifies to a design that is as aesthetic as it is functional. Its original stopper, perfectly fitted, completes the ensemble harmoniously. The number 37 engraved on the stopper corresponds to the artisanal pairing number of the crystal works, which is also engraved on the bottom of the Shaker not far from the BACCARAT France hallmark. This model was manufactured between the late 1930s and the 1950s (During this period, artisans continued to individually adjust stoppers on pieces with complex shapes while applying the new brand signature). With its generous weight of almost 2 kg, whether as a whisky carafe, spirit flask, or elegant bar accessory, this piece will appeal to lovers of fine dining and quality crystal. Displayed on a bar cabinet, sideboard, or reception table, it will add a touch of distinction and refinement. Note! a very fine, almost invisible scratch, visible under magnification, and fine scratches present on the stopper (friction with the shaker): see the last 3 photos. Nevertheless, this does not detract from its beauty and history, because “the crystal remains sublime despite its vulnerability.” A piece of high quality, both decorative and functional, which will naturally find its place in a prestigious BACCARAT collection. Shipped with extra-protected packaging and insured worldwide.
