Todas las subastas / Alfombras & textiles / B528 - 620 x 155 cm - "Le Maioliche Italiane" - tessuto...
This is a wonderful and impressive cut of fabric of strictly Italian manufacture, which combines the freshness and durability of pure linen with the softness and versatility of pure cotton. A precious yarn, of substantial body and high quality, evidenced by the substantial weight of no less than 2.2 kilograms spread over a generous area of 620 cm in length by 155 cm in height. The fabric is characterized by a refined patchwork-style print that recalls the ancient maiolicas and cementine of the Mediterranean tradition. The color tones used are sober, elegant, and timeless. The delicate shades of sage gray, antique green, golden ochre, and hints of navy/sky blue predominate, skillfully paired on a natural white background that enhances the typical linen weave. The back of the fabric shows the purity of the natural weave, confirming the high quality of the print that does not weigh down the softness of the fiber. Thanks to its substantial dimensions and its robustness, this fabric lends itself to multiple uses in the field of interior design and furnishing textiles: - Tavola d'Onore: Ideal for crafting one or more highly valuable tablecloths for important convivial gatherings (indoor as well as for outdoor dining and gardens). - Tappezzeria e Tendaggi: Perfect for upholstering armchairs, seating, decorative cushions, or for creating drapes and heavy curtains with strong visual impact. - Copriletti e Runner: Excellent for adding an elegant rustic-chic or coastal touch to the bedroom or living area. A true piece of Italian textile craftsmanship, capable of bringing warmth, history, and the beauty of Mediterranean art into any space. The colors in person are similar to those in the photos. The photos are part of the description. It is in excellent condition. Never used. Brand new. Will be shipped with trackable delivery.
