INGRAVID FOREST 143 is part of a series inspired by Magritte and contemporary surrealism. This work is part of a series that sublimates what is natural and the impossible into a single vision. In “Ingravidad Forest,” the trunks float without roots, stripped of the gravity that ties them to the ground. The landscape becomes a stage for the unlikely: a forest that is not held up by the laws of physics, but by the rules of imagination. The reference to Magritte, and also to Dalí, is not incidental: like him, the artist invites us to contemplate a world where the ordinary becomes strange, and the impossible, evident. The trees suspended in the air compel us to rethink the concept of what is organic and stable, while the chromatic play —with electric blues, incandescent reds, and deep shadows— intensifies the dreamlike atmosphere. This series poses essential questions: What happens when we take the weight off nature? Can weightlessness reveal another dimension of the landscape, one that is more emotional than physical? “Ingravidad Forest” is both a metaphor and a provocation, a visual liberation act that challenges logic to reveal a new poetic space. “Ingravidad Forest” by its very name already evokes a powerful image: floating trees that challenge not only physics, but also our perception of what a forest should be. - About the artist: The artist has exhibited her work in Almería, Spain; Dortmund, Germany; Porto Alegre, Brazil; Colegio de España in Paris; Galería Art & Planét, Paris, France; Los Angeles, California, USA; Montreal, Canada; Vienna, Austria; Barcelona, Spain; New York, USA, among others. - Technical details of the work: Acrylic on high-quality cotton canvas Dimensions: 100 cm x 75 cm (+ margin) Signed on the back and protected with varnish Original certificate of authenticity hand-signed - Clarifying note: Colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings and the lighting of the space where the photograph was taken.
