Autumn on Fire - Andrada Anghel

Autumn on Fire by Andrada Anghel Painting 48.0 x 40.0 :: Original abstract painting in burnt orange navy blue and warm off-white. This painting is all about contrast that works. What you're seeing is orange not as a flat color but as movement: it pushes swirls breaks through. I built it in layers thick in the center where the orange and white collide then thin and washed out at the edges where the dark blue-grey takes over. That's what gives it depth it feels like it's still moving. The blue isn't just background. It's that deep stormy navy that makes the orange actually burn. Without it orange would be just happy and flat. With it it has tension warmth trying to break through something cold. That's why people stop on it. I love it and you will love it! - Medium: acrylic mixed media - Support: ready to hang - Size: 40""x48"" - Colors: orange coral red white charcoal gray warm tones fiery palette.
