Todas las subastas / Varios / AUREO - Silent GOLD
Hand-painted on canvas. In *Silent Gold*, AUREO offers an ethereal vision of a coastal landscape at sunset or sunrise. The composition strikes a perfect balance between abstraction and representation. Gold is applied boldly to create sunlit clouds and sandbanks shimmering in the water, while grey, brown, and beige pigments define the hills and the sea. Refined details—such as a flock of birds flying across the golden sky and delicate brushstrokes suggesting reflections on the water—demonstrate the artist's technical mastery. The rich, textured quality of the gold contrasts with the fluidity of the other colors, creating unique visual depth. The work is a hymn to the beauty of nature and the power of light; a piece that captures the essence of the ephemeral and transforms it into a timeless work of art. This painting is one of AUREO’s masterpieces, created at the pinnacle of the "Landscapes of Light" series. The artist spent months traveling along the Mediterranean coast, capturing the unique light of every sunrise and sunset. *Silent Gold* is the result of this journey—a poetic synthesis of the emotions felt in the presence of nature's majesty. The piece was carefully held in the private collection of a prominent art patron before being made available for this auction. It is a work of art that marries the preciousness of gold with the beauty of contemporary painting. *Silent Gold* offers an extraordinary visual experience. A unique, evocative, and resonant name for the Italian market, linking directly to the precious metal used in the works and the light they radiate. AUREO is an almost mythical figure in contemporary art. Renowned for a unique technique that blends organic pigments with gold, the artist has created an unmistakable style that fuses textural abstraction with the poetry of the landscape. His identity remains veiled, fueling the mystery and desire surrounding his works. AUREO’s career is marked by international success. His works have been acquired for prestigious collections worldwide—from New York to Hong Kong, and from London to Dubai. Style: Contemporary abstract art. Dimensions: 100 x 70 cm.
