Comparables: Arader Galleries, 2023 - $125,000; Arader Galleries, 2020 - $115,900. A Masterpiece Icon of America's Tallest Bird. The Elegant Sandhill Crane, Now Endangered in Mississippi and Cuba. The conservationists of Nebraska are heroes for having spent ten of millions on protecting this species’ breeding grounds on the Platte River. There are 10 times more cranes along the Platte now than there were 60 years ago. This astounding 500,000 population thrive with special sanctuaries, river management and vast fields of corn.
