Artemide - Elemental - Floor lamp - "O" APP Compatible - Aluminium

T073030APP – INDOOR / OUTDOOR – APP COMPATIBLE A presence decidedly out of the ordinary. “O” by Artemide is a floor lamp that reduces the lighting project to an essential and powerful gesture: a large luminous ring suspended visually in space, supported by a minimal base. Designed by Elemental, the lamp is born from an idea as simple as it is surprising: transform light into a true architectural form. When off, “O” appears as a large black graphical mark, almost a sculptural element. When on, the circle transforms completely and becomes a continuous surface of soft and uniform light, able to characterize the environment without being obtrusive. With its 90 cm diameter, it is not a lamp that goes unnoticed. It is an object designed to have a presence: it can define a corner of the living room, accompany a contract environment, create a luminous backdrop, or become a real focal point in a contemporary space. The slender aluminum structure further emphasizes this sense of lightness, while the silicone diffuser allows the light to travel around the entire ring in a continuous way. Artemide describes the light of “O” as controlled, comfortable and not glare-inducing. A PROJECT BORN FOR THE OUTDOOR, BROUGHT INSIDE Presented in 2018 in outdoor floor and suspension versions, the “O” family was subsequently developed also for interiors. This version also maintains IP44, a feature that allows it to be used in protected outdoor environments. The App Compatible version adds a technological component to an object with a deliberately minimalist aesthetic, allowing light management through Artemide App and compatible control systems. It does not try to imitate a traditional lamp and does not need a complex shape to attract attention. A black circle, a continuous line of light, and an almost invisible base: few elements, but a huge presence. It is a perfect object for those seeking a contemporary lamp that also has a strong sculptural and architectural component, in addition to the mere lighting function. An important lamp, spectacular without being decorative, and decidedly non-conventional.
