A striking pair of late 19th-century French-style salon armchairs upholstered in a dense, multi-colored floral and rose print over a deep chocolate-brown ground. Modeled in the classic crapaud silhouette, each features a deeply padded, rolled scroll-back rest flanked by functional gilt-metal rosettes and hanging bullion tassels. The compact, comfortable frame includes low-slung padded armrests and is supported by elegantly turned wooden front legs resting on traditional bun feet.
