Primo GMT Bronze is a diver built with a material that very few actually use: solid bronze CuSn6 Marine, the marine alloy used to resist seawater. Not a coating, not a surface treatment applied to steel: the case, bezel and crown are bronze through and through, from the outer layer to the core. This is what makes every piece different from all the others. Bronze reacts to air, skin, and salt spray, and over time develops a patina that no other watch will have: it darkens in the engravings, lightens where the sleeve abrasion polishes it. Those who buy an Arcaido are not buying a finished object, but an object that continues to evolve. The GMT function allows reading a second time zone thanks to a fourth central hand, paired with the 24-hour scale printed on the dial: home time remains on the main hands, the second time zone is read on the 24-hour scale, with quick time zone and date adjustment. Three hundred meters of water resistance, unidirectional 120-click bezel with matte black ceramic insert — raised numbers and scale, a material that does not scratch or stain — anti-reflective sapphire crystal, black dial with applied indices and Swiss Super-LumiNova BWG9, white in daylight and blue in the dark. The exhibition case back in 316L steel with sapphire allows viewing the Swiss automatic movement at work: circular brushed decorations, blued screws and a customized IP black rotor that turns with every wrist movement. The strap is Made in Italy leather, hand-stitched and interchangeable thanks to two removable end-links.
