Antoine Nelson - Bust, VILLANELLE - 32 cm - Plaster

According to Antoine Nelson, (real name Antoine Joseph Van den Kerckhove, born in Brussels in 1849 and died in 1910) he is a renowned Belgian sculptor of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Bust depicting a peasant girl "Villanelle" dressed in a red fichu over her hair, the gaze is very expressive, in painted plaster, set on a base decorated with flowers and scrolls. From the Art Nouveau period, No damage, only a few tiny, minuscule white traces. The bust is in excellent condition. Total weight: about 3 kg Shipped with very careful protection.
