Antique Austrian Terracotta Life-Size Pug Dog Sculpture

An antique late 19th century Austrian terracotta life-size pug dog sculpture, modelled standing on all four legs and wearing a collar. The sculpture displays fine facial detailing, particularly to the expression, and is fitted with orange glass eyes, giving it a lifelike presence and strong character. The piece is in good condition and makes a striking decorative interior object, equally suited to a period setting or as a characterful statement piece in a modern home. A charming example for dog lovers and collectors alike.
