Todas las subastas / Arte contemporáneo / Andrea Giorgi (XX) - relax viola scuro
Lot with reserve price Andrea Giorgi is among Italy's most internationally recognized artists: TOP 10 sculptors of 2024 and TOP 50 artists out of 129,000 in 2025, according to one of the leading online art platforms Artist biography Born in Italy in 1974, Andrea Giorgi has worked for over 20 years as an interior designer, 12 of which in the megayacht sector. Since 2008 he has been a pioneer of Italian digital art, with exhibitions at fairs and international shows. His works decorate luxury environments, including prestigious yachts, and are part of high-profile private collections — including Ferrero's collection. Since 2016 he is also a digital sculptor: His sculptures are present worldwide He was among the first sculptors to sell on Catawiki, where he introduced iconic characters such as boxers, figures emerging from magazines and walls, and his famous lattice sculptures Many artists today offer variants inspired by his style Philosophy and production Andrea Giorgi designs all of his sculptures in 3D, which are then printed in Italy using technologies ranging from plastic jet to the more complex laser prints. The laser versions are hand-colored by the artist. The most exclusive editions are cast in bronze using the lost-wax process, in collaboration with a renowned Italian foundry. Contrary to the pop/street art trend that often merely colors prefab sculptures, Giorgi defends authenticity and original design. His philosophy, shaped in the luxury world, is clear: “LESS IS MORE.” Production is deliberately limited, and weekly sales on Catawiki are selective. Lot information Certificate of authenticity included Provenance: COLLECTION, Contemporary Loft Art Gallery, Ancona, Italy Shipping: insured international courier No shipments to Russia, Belarus and China Unpaid lots Due to the rising cases of won lots that are unpaid, Collection has entrusted credit recovery to its legal studio. Catawiki now provides the buyer data of defaulting buyers upon the seller's request. Legal action will be taken with the related costs charged.
