Todas las subastas / Arte contemporáneo / Andra Undiez - The Gray Simplicity - XXL
Andra Undiez – Large Abstract Painting Inspired by nature – layered with emotion, texture, and light The Gray Simplicity is an abstract artwork that evokes the feeling of a weathered, time-worn celestial body. Layers of cream, grey and ochre build a tactile surface, suggesting erosion, memory and passage. The central circular form anchors the composition, adding a quiet strength that complements refined, characterful interiors. About the Artist Andra Undiez is a Romanian-born artist whose work is rooted in Decorative and Fine Arts. After earning her diploma in Decorative Wall Painting in 1996, she studied at the University of Fine Arts in Bucharest, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Decorative Art and Fashion Design in 2002. Her artistic style is intuitive and emotionally driven, often reflecting elements of nature, memory, and mood. Now based in Germany, Andra creates full-time in her studio, with her artworks held in private collections across Europe. Medium & Technique Acrylic on high-quality professional canvas. The materials ensure color brilliance, texture integrity, and long-lasting visual presence. Dimensions & Display Canvas size: 160 x 100 cm (unstretched). For optimal presentation, we recommend stretching it on a 150 x 90 x 2 cm frame. No additional outer frame is necessary. Shipping To protect the artwork during transit, the canvas will be shipped rolled in a sturdy, protective tube. Authenticity This is a unique, original painting. It is hand-signed and dated by the artist on the back and includes a certificate of authenticity.
