Beige terracotta statuette depicting a nude young man (ephebe), with a draped cloth over his left shoulder. He is depicted standing, nude on a circular base, partially covered by a chlamys (Greek toga) covering his back. He stands in classical contrapposto on an integral base, shifting weight onto his left leg, arms hanging casually at his sides, turned forward with a delicately defined face. Stoneware, Etruscan art, Italy, late 4th to early 3rd century BCE. Dimensions: Height 15.8 cm - width 5.9 cm Perfect condition - no restoration Provenance: France, Etude R.V.P.
